The Come Up was the Brooklyn DVD magazine from Dirty Money Films that ran from the mid-2000s: exclusive interviews, freestyles, video premieres and street footage, one volume at a time.

It is best remembered for who it caught early. Nicki Minaj appeared across Volumes 11 to 19 before her deal; Lil Wayne got a whole Wayne’s World edition; Jadakiss had the Notorious Kiss edition; Dipset and D-Block were regulars.

This page collects The Come Up footage that is on YouTube. The discs are held in the Hood Box Office DVD archive, an independent preservation project of the Wendy Black Foundation. Nothing here is for sale.
