Synopsis

What happens when a sharp 19-year-old Black woman leaves a toxic home, lands in Atlanta with nothing but ambition, and ends up sleeping on the streets? That is the core question driving the American Girl full movie, a raw, independent Black drama directed by Alfred Robbins and released in 2023. This is not a glossy, prestige-circuit film. It is a ground-level story about survival, self-sabotage, and purpose, and it deserves every minute of your attention from the African American movies...
